We’re Bread&Butter Designs, a very proud homegrown Toronto business that specializes in reclaimed wood furniture and feature walls for your restaurant, retail, salon, home or cottage.

 

Established in 2013, Bread&Butter Designs began as a small living room business, creating pieces for ourselves, our friends and our family. As the demand grew for our work, more and more of our home was being over-run by our projects. It was time for the robin to leave the nest.

 

Our first professional workshop was a 300 square foot space at Walnut Studios in the King/Niagara area. We worked alongside many other inspiring, talented artists, but ultimately we once again needed more space! Looking back, it must have been fate that our landlord and owner of Walnut Studios had a vacancy in another property. Built in the 1950's and used by a local carpenter, we knew we found our new home.

 

Now located near Bloor/Christie, our production capabilities have finally caught up with the demand – we want to serve you!

 

Our goal is to create “one-of-a-kind” reclaimed wood feature pieces, custom to your space. Bringing out the natural beauty and character of the wood is both our strength and our mission – it’s what we're all about!
